While our guests returned back home and have been hunkered down/sheltered inside in the safety of their houses during quarantine, our teams at InterContinental, Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites Cairo Citystars, has continuously worked on learning the new hygiene and cleaning norms and has returned to normal hotel operations with a better understanding of it than ever before. Throughout quarantine, we have had the opportunity to expand our commitment to cleanliness and hygiene through IHG® Way of Clean program; a program launched in 2015 and developed in partnership with Ecolab and Diversey; both world leaders in Hygiene and cleaning technologies and services. The program has been expanded with additional COVID-19 protocols and best practices. IHG® Way of Clean program includes deep cleaning with hospital-grade disinfectants in guest rooms and public spaces, in addition to a plenty of tangible evolved procedures throughout the hotels, including additional regular deep cleaning of high touch surfaces in public areas, maintaining social distancing, and best practices for pools, fitness centers, restaurants, bars and lounges.

فبينما عاد ضيوفنا إلى منازلهم من أجل أمانهم خلال فترة الحجر الصحي العالمي، كان فريق عمل مجموعة فنادق إنتركونتيننتال العالمية يعمل بإستمرار على تعلم وممارسة قواعد النظافة والتعقيم الجديدة مع التدريب عليها وممارستها أفضل من أي وقت مضى.
فخلال فترة الحجر الصحي، أتيحت لنا الفرصة لتوسيع مفهوم الإلتزام بالنظافة والتعقيم من خلال برنامج IHG Way of Clean. والذي تم إطلاقه في عام 2015 بالشراكة والتعاون مع شركتي Ecolab و Diversey، واللذان يعدان من أهم الشركات في العالم من حيث العمل على تقنيات وخدمات النظافة والتعقيم. كما يتم الآن توسيع البرنامج ببروتوكولات COVID-19 وإضافة أفضل الممارسات للوقاية والحماية من المرض. كما يتضمن البرنامج التنظيف بعمق باستخدام نفس المطهرات التي تستخدم في المستشفيات في جميع غرف الضيوف والأماكن العامة، بالإضافة إلى الكثير من الإجراءات المتطورة الملحوظة في جميع أنحاء الفنادق، بما في ذلك التنظيف العميق المستمر للأسطح عالية اللمس في الأماكن العامة، والحفاظ على التباعد الاجتماعي، بالإضافة إلى أفضل الممارسات الخاصة بتنظيف وتعقيم حمامات السباحة والنوادي الصحية والجيم والمطاعم والبارات.
